विजिलेंस ने नगर निगम के जेई को रिश्वत लेते किया गिरफ्तार
विजिलेंस ने हल्द्वानी नगर निगम कार्यालय में रिश्वतखोर जेई को दबोचा
हल्द्वानी। विजिलेंस ने नगर निगम हल्द्वानी में तैनात अवर अभियंता खष्टी बल्लम उपाध्याय को गुरुवार की दोपहर नगर निगम कार्यालय में 25 हजार रुपये की रिश्वत लेते हुए रंगे हाथ गिरफ्तार किया है। विजिलेंस के एसपी धीरेंद्र गुंज्याल ने बताया कि शिकायतकर्ता ने सतर्कता अधिष्ठान के हल्द्वानी स्थित कार्यालय में आकर शिकायत अकित करायी थी कि उनकी कम्पनी द्वारा हल्द्वानी शहर में स्ट्रीट लाइटें लगाने का कार्य किया गया । और इनके रखरखाव का कार्य भी उनके द्वारा किया जाता है।
ई0ई0सी0एल0 कम्पनी के द्वारा रखरखाव का भुगतान, नगर निगम से कार्य के संतोषजनक होने का पत्र मिलने पर होता है, जिसे बनाने के के लिये नगर निगम, हल्द्वानी के अवर अभियन्ता खष्टी बल्लम उपाध्याय रिश्वत मांग रहा था। शिकायतकर्ता ने विजिलेंस में शिकायत की थी।विजिलेंस ने गुरुवार को जाल बिछाकर जेई को गिरफ्तार किया।
