उक्त बात भाजपा के वरिष्ठ नेता और प्रदेश के सिंचाई, पर्यटन, धर्मस्व, लोक निर्माण, पंचायतीराज, ग्रामीण निर्माण, जलागम एवं संस्कृति मंत्री सतपाल महाराज ने लक्सर से भाजपा के नगर पालिका परिषद के अध्यक्ष पद के प्रत्याशी देवेन्द्र चौधरी के समर्थन में लक्सर भाजपा चुनाव कार्यालय में आयोजित त्रिदेव सम्मेलन को संबोधित करते हुए कही।
वरिष्ठ भाजपा नेता और प्रदेश के कैबिनेट मंत्री महाराज ने भाजपा चुनाव कार्यालय में आयोजित त्रिदेव सम्मेलन में भाजपा कार्यकर्ताओं और स्थानीय जनता का आह्वान करते हुए कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के मार्गदर्शन और मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी के नेतृत्व में उत्तराखंड में लगातार विकास की गंगा बह रही है। जिस प्रकार तेजी के साथ ऋषिकेश-कर्णप्रयाग रेलवे लाइन का निर्माण कार्य चल रहा है। उत्तराखंड में आने वाले पर्यटकों और यात्रियों की संख्या में लगातार बड़ी मात्रा में वृद्धि हो रही है उसे देखते अब आम जनता भी कहने लगी है कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी का यह कहना सही है कि आने वाला दशक उत्तराखंड का होगा।
उन्होंने लक्सर की जनता से निकाय चुनावों में भाजपा के नगर पालिका परिषद के अध्यक्ष पद के प्रत्याशी देवेन्द्र चौधरी सहित सभी ग्यारह वार्डों के भाजपा प्रत्याशियों को भारी मतों से जीताने की अपील करते हुए कहा कि स्थानीय स्तर पर विकास के लिए जरूरी है कि नगर पालिका परिषद चुनावों में भारतीय जनता पार्टी की जीत का पररचम लहराये और ट्रिपल इंजन की सरकार में किसी भी स्तर पर विकास कार्य प्रभावित न हों।
