पत्नी की हत्या के आरोप से 25 साल बाद हुए बेगुना साबित, 1997 में हुआ था केस दर्ज
प्रयागराज। जिला न्यायालय ने पत्नी की हत्या के आरोपी पति को 25 साल बाद हत्या के आरोप से बरी कर दिया। मृतका के पिता ने पति और सास-ससुर के खिलाफ हत्या का मामला दर्ज करवाया था। यह फैसला अपर सत्र न्यायाधीश भारत सिंह यादव ने सुनाया। विचारण के दौरान बहू की हत्या की आरोपी सास श्यामपत्ती और ससुर पन्नालाल की मौत होने के कारण उनका केस उपशमित कर दिया गया। मामला प्रयागराज जिले के कीडगंज थाना क्षेत्र का है। वर्ष 1997 में पूरामुक्ति थाना क्षेत्र के मनौरी निवासी ताराचंद्र ने अपने दामाद शत्रुधन, सास श्यामपत्ति और ससुर पन्नालाल के खिलाफ अपनी बेटी सुनीता देवी की हत्या के आरोप में एफआईआर दर्ज करवाई थी।
ताराचंद्र का कहना था कि शादी के बाद शत्रुधन और उसके माता-पिता सुनीता को मायके से रुपए लाने के लिए प्रताड़ित करते थे। 12 दिसंबर 1997 की दोपहर उसे बेटी की मौत की खबर मिली। परिजनों के साथ वह बेटी के ससुराल पहुंचे उन्हें बताया गया की बेटी सीढ़ियों से गिर कर मरी है, लेकिन जब उसने बेटी की लाश देखी तो उसके गले पर काले निशान थे। पिता की एफआईआर पर पुलिस ने विवेचना की और मृतका के पति, सास और ससुर के खिलाफ आरोप पत्र दाखिल कर दिया। अभियोजन की ओर से सात गवाहों को परिक्षित करवाया गया, जिसमे सुनील कुमार केशरवानी और राम बहादुर गुप्ता पक्षद्रोही हो गए।
