जी-20 के समय घरों में बंद रहेंगे लोग
ऐसा लग रहा है कि सितंबर में जी-20 की बैठक के समय आधी से ज्यादा दिल्ली घरों में बंद रहेगी। कर्फ्यू जैसे हालात हो सकते हैं। बताया जा रहा है कि मध्य दिल्ली और दक्षिणी दिल्ली का कुछ हिस्सा लगभग पूरी तरह से बंद हो सकता है। लोगों की आवाजाही को बहुत हद तक सीमित कर दिया जाएगा। बेहद जरूरी सेवाएं जारी रहेंगी और उन सेवाओं से जुड़े लोगों को भी पास जारी किए जाएंगे। यानी जिन लोगों के लिए पास जारी होगा उनके अलावा दूसरे लोगों का कुछ निश्चित इलाकों में जाना वर्जित होगा। गौरतलब है कि प्रगति मैदान में जी-20 का सम्मेलन नौ और दस सितंबर को होना है। इसमें हिस्सा लेने के लिए अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति जो बाइडेन सहित दुनिया के 20 सबसे अमीर देशों के प्रधानमंत्री या राष्ट्रपति नई दिल्ली आ रहे हैं। इन 20 के अलावा भी कुछ देशों को अतिथि के तौर पर आमंत्रित किया गया है।
सम्मेलन प्रगति मैदान के नए बने कन्वेंशन सेंटर में होगा। सारे आमंत्रित अतिथि इसके आसपास का पांच सितारा होटलों में रूकेंगे। लुटियंस की दिल्ली में स्थित इम्पीरियल होटल, मैरिडियन, ललित, सांग्रीला के अलावा आईटीसी मौर्य में भी मेहमान रूकेंगे। बताया जा रहा है कि आठ सितंबर से मध्य दिल्ली का पूरा इलाका और दक्षिण दिल्ली के कुछ इलाकों में आवाजाही सीमित कर दी जाएगी। इन इलाकों में बाजार या तो पूरी तरह से बंद रहेंगे या दुकानदारों के लिए पास जारी होंगे। कनॉट प्लेस, बंगाली मार्केट, खान मार्केट आदि के दुकानदारों के लिए पास जारी होंगे। इन इलाकों में सुरक्षा की बेहद कड़ी व्यवस्था की जाएगी। स्कूल, कॉलेज आदि भी बंद करने की बात हो रही है। पहले तो सडक़ों पर से आवारा कुत्तों तक को हटाने की बात थी लेकिन बाद में उन्हें छोड़ दिया गया।
