स्वास्थ्य मंत्री ने श्रीनगर मेडिकल कालेज में किया स्किल सेंटर का लोकार्पण
भावी चिकित्सकों का मानसिक व शारीरिक रूप से स्वस्थ रहना जरूरी
ओपन जिम, बास्केटबॉल, वालीबॉल कोर्ट व लिंक रोड की भी दी सौगात
श्रीनगर। चिकित्सा स्वास्थ्य एवं चिकित्सा शिक्षा मंत्री डॉ. धन सिंह रावत ने शनिवार को मेडिकल कॉलेज के एमबीबीएस छात्र-छात्राओं के लिए शारीरिक खेलकूद के लिए ओपन जिम, बास्केटबॉल और वालीबॉल कोर्ट व लिक रोड की सौगात दी। यहीं नहीं एमबीबीएस छात्रों को चिकित्सा सेवा में कुशल बनाने के लिए 1 करोड़ 46 लाख की लागत से बने स्किल सेंटर का भी लोकार्पण किया। इस अवसर पर स्वास्थ्य मंत्री ने कहा कि 26 जनवरी तक बेस अस्नपताल में सभी नर्सिंग अधिकारी तैनात हो जायेगे। जबकि 250 वार्ड व्याय तैनात होगे। कहा कि मेडिकल कालेज के 300 एमबीबीबीएस छात्रों के हास्टल तथा 50 फैकल्टियों के लिए आवास बनाए जा रहे। 2025-26 में नर्सिंग और पैरामेडिकल कालेज भी बनकर तैयार हो जायेगा।
मेडिकल कॉलेज में आयोजित लोकार्पण कार्यक्रम के मौके पर चिकित्सा स्वास्थ्य एवं चिकित्सा शिक्षा मंत्री डॉ. धन सिंह रावत ने कहा कि खेल-कूद किसी भी शिक्षा का अनिवार्य अंग है। अनेक प्रकार के खेलकूदों के द्वारा एमबीबीएस छात्रों का भावी चिकित्सक के रूप मे अपने शारीरिक व मानसिक रूप से स्वस्थ व मजबूत रहना बहुत जरूरी है। तभी वह भविष्य मे मरीजों का और अच्छे से इलाज कर पायेगे। श्रीनगर मेडिकल कालेज कैंपस परिसर में स्वच्छ वायु के साथ – साथ खुले वातावरण में है। स्वास्थ्य मंत्री ने कहा कि अच्छी शिक्षा का उद्देश्य छात्रों में शारीरिक, मानसिक और नैतिक विकास करना है। शिक्षा में खेल-कूद उतने ही आवश्यक हैं जितना पढ़ाई के लिए पुस्तकें। पुस्तकों से मन और आत्मा का विकास होता है, जबकि खेलकूद से शरीर स्वस्थ्य और सबल बनता है। डॉ. रावत ने कहा कि छात्रों के बीच पहले कैंपस में ओपन जिम, बास्केबॉल एवं वालीबॉल कोर्ट नहीं थे अब सभी खेल के संसाधन मुहैया करा दिये है। जल्द ही कोटेश्वर डैम कॉलोनी के जमीन पर स्टेडियम बनकर तैयार होगा। स्वास्थ्य मंत्री ने प्रदेश भर में शिक्षा के साथ ही छात्रों के शारीरिक शिक्षा पर भी सरकार का विशेष फोकस है।
उन्होंने कहा कि परिवार व समाज स्वस्थ रहेगा तो प्रदेश व देश और उन्नति करेगा।उन्होंने कहा कि बेस चिकित्सालय में स्किल सेंटर बनने से यहां भावी चिकित्सक, नर्सिंग स्टाफ, टेक्नीकल स्टाफ व अन्य कर्मी, जीवन रक्षक ट्रैनिंग लेकर अपना कौशल विकास के साथ आपातकालीन परिस्थिति मे जीवन रक्षक का पुन्य कार्य करेगे। इस मौके पर मेडिकल कॉलेज के प्राचार्य डॉ. सीएमएस रावत ने कहा कि श्रीनगर मेडिकल कॉलेज में लगातार एमबीबीएस छात्रों के लिए इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर, उपकरण, संकाय सदस्यो व सपोर्टिंग स्टाफ के साथ- साथ शैक्षणिक एवं खेल गतिविधियों के संसाधनों बढ़ोत्तरी हुई है। इससे एमबीबीएस छात्रों के लिए एक बेहतर कैंपस का सपना साकार हो रहा है। इसके लिए मेडिकल कॉलेज परिवार मा. चिकित्सा स्वास्थ्य एवं चिकित्सा शिक्षा मंत्री जी का आभार प्रकट करता है।
