देहरादून। अंकिता ध्यानी ने स्टीपलचेज में और सिद्धार्थ रावत ने जूडो में उत्तराखंड को गोल्ड मेडल जिताया। महाराणा प्रताप स्पोर्टस स्टेडियम में खेल मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने इन स्पर्धाओं के विजेताओं को मेडल पहनाए।
महिलाओं की 3000 मीटर स्टीपलचेज स्पर्धा में अंकिता ध्यानी ने 9 मिनट 53.63 सेकेंड का समय निकाल कर गोल्ड मेडल जीताI
मध्यप्रदेश की मंजू यादव ने 10 मिनट 15.7 सेकेंड के समय के साथ सिल्वर पर कब्जा जमाया। यूपी की रबी पाल ने कांस्य पदक जीता।
खेलमंत्री रेखा आर्या ने विजेताओं को मेडल पहनाएं और जीत की बधाई दी।
खेल मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने इस मौके पर कहा कि अंकिता ध्यानी की फॉम को देखते हुए उन्हें उससे गोल्ड की ही उम्मीद की थी और अंकिता ने प्रदेश के लोगों को नाउम्मीद नहीं कियाI इसके अलावा उत्तराखंड को दिन का दूसरा गोल्ड मेडल जूडो में हासिल हुआ। जूडो के फाइनल में उत्तराखंड के सिद्धार्थ रावत ने अपने प्रतिद्वंद्वि को पटखनी देते हुए गोल्ड मेडल जीता। इस इवेंट में हरियाणा के लक्की ने सिल्वर मेडल जीता। हरियाणा के अजय को इस इवेंट का सिल्वर मिला। महाराणा प्रताप स्पोर्टस स्टेडियम के मोनाल हॉल में खेल मंत्री ने विजेताओं को मेडल ने नवाजा। खेल मंत्री ने पत्रकारों से बात करते हुए कहा कि खिलाडियों ने इन खेलों में यह साबित कर दिया है कि अगर उन्हें सही सुविधाएं और प्रोत्साहन मिले तो वे कमाल कर सकते हैं। खेल मंत्री ने कहा कि पदक तालिका में छठे या सातवें स्थान पर बने रहना हमारे लिए गौरव की बात है। खेल मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने कहा कि हर आयोजन स्थल पर खिलाड़ी और मेहमान प्रदेश द्वारा उपलब्ध करायी गयी खेल सुविधाओं को वर्ल्ड क्लास बता रहे हैं जो हमारे लिए बेहद खुशी की बात है।
