कृषि मंत्री ने राजकीय उद्यान चौबटिया, का किया आकस्मिक निरीक्षण
देहरादून/रानीखेत। कृषि एवं कृषक कल्याण मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने पंडित दीनदयाल उपाध्याय राजकीय उद्यान चौबटिया, रानीखेत का आकस्मिक निरीक्षण किया। मंत्री ने उद्यान में लगाये गये उच्चगुणवत्ता युक्त नवीनतम व्यवसायिक किस्मों के सेब, चेरी, खुवानी, पुलम, अखरोट के सघन एवं अतिसघन मातृवृक्ष प्रखण्डों का निरीक्षण किया। विभिन्न किस्मों के लदे फल वृक्षों की प्रजातियों एवं विशेषज्ञताओं के बारे में विस्तृत जानकारी प्राप्त की। प्रक्षेत्र पर बनाए गये नवीन समर्थक मार्गो का अवलोकन किया तथा उन मार्गों पर पर्यटन की दृष्टि से सुगम बननाने हेतु निर्देशित किया।
कृषि मंत्री ने पर्यटकों की सुविधा के लिए पार्किंग व्यवस्था, जगह-जगह पर विश्राम स्थल तथा हिमालय की नैर्सिगक सुन्दरता को निहारने के लिए व्यूप्वाइंट के निर्माण हेतु भी निर्देशित किया। साथ ही, पूरे गार्डन को पर्यटकों के लिए खोले जाने हेतु एवं पर्यटको के भ्रमण को सुगम बनाने हेतु विशेष वाहनों की व्यवस्था हेतु भी निर्देशित किया गया। भ्रमण के दौरान कृषि मंत्री द्वारा विशेष तौर पर खुवानी की लाल प्रजाति, (रुवैलो/वुलेरो) एवं सेब की लगायी गई 34 प्रजातियों की एवं सेब की इन्सटैक विधि से तैयार किये जा रहे पौधों की नर्सरी एवं आइनैक्ट्रीन ब्लॉक तथा राजकीय उद्यान में तैयार किये गये एक ही पौधे पर 4 प्रजातियां, खुवानी, नैक्ट्रीन एव पुलम के फलों को देखकर अत्यधिक प्रसंसा की एवं केन्द्र पर कार्यरत कार्मिको द्वारा किये जा रहे कार्यों पर प्रशंसा की।
उन्होंने इण्डोडच की सहायता से स्थापित किये जाने वाले उत्कृष्टता केन्द्र की प्रगति के बारे में जानकारी प्राप्त की। प्रक्षेत्र को विश्व स्तरीय उद्यान के रूप मे विकसित करने हेतु प्रस्ताव तैयार करने के लिए सम्बंधित उच्च अधिकारियों को उद्यान से ही दूरभाष पर निर्देशित किया गया। पिछले लंबे समय से बंद पड़े शोधकेन्द्र चौबटिया को पुनर्जीवित करने हेतु तत्काल प्रस्ताव प्रस्तुत करने को भी निर्देशित किया गया। वर्तमान में उद्यान सेब की 125 प्रजातियां, खुवानी की 14, आईनैक्ट्रीन की 11, चेरी की 12, पुलम की 12 अखरोट की 7 मदर ब्लॉक संकलन किया गया है। इसके साथ ही साथ पर्यटकों को आकर्षित करने के लिए त्यूलिप, रोज, विगोमिया की विभिन्न प्रजातियां सीजनल पुष्प पौध लगाकर पुष्प ब्लॉक की स्थापना की गयी।
