भाजपा नेतृत्व ने अगर बिल्कुल अल्पकालिक नजरिया अपना रखा हो, तो बात दीगर है। वरना, अगर पार्टी के अंदर किसी को अपने दीर्घकालिक भविष्य की चिंता है, तो उसे जंतर-मंतर से उठ रही आवाजों पर अवश्य ध्याना देना चाहिए। पहलवानी के अंतरराष्ट्रीय अखाड़ों में भारत का नाम रोशन कर चुके पहलवानों को नई दिल्ली के जंतर-मंतर पर अखाड़ा लगाना पड़ा, क्योंकि उनकी एक साधारण-सी मांग आज के सत्ता प्रतिष्ठान को मंजूर नहीं है। लेकिन देखते-देखते अब यह सिर्फ उनका अखाड़ा नहीं रह गया है। इस पर सत्ता पक्ष की तरफ से शिकायत जताई जा रही है कि पहलवानों के मुद्दे को अब सियासी रंग दिया जा रहा है। लेकिन यहां ये बात ध्यान में रखनी चाहिए कि भारतीय कुश्ती परिसंघ के प्रमुख बृजभूषण सिंह के खिलाफ यौन उत्पीडऩ का आरोप लगाते हुए जब पहली बार पहलवान जंतर-मंतर पर आए थे, तब उन्होंने वहां पहुंचने वाले राजनेताओं को अपने मंच पर बिल्कुल जगह नहीं दी थी।
लेकिन जब तीन महीने तक गैर-राजनीतिक ढंग से अपनी मुहिम चलाने और प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की न्याय भावना पर भरोसा रखने के बावजूद उन्हें हताशा हाथ लगी, तो उसके लिए जिम्मेदार कौन है? बहरहाल, अब जंतर-मंतर सिर्फ विपक्षी राजनेताओं का ही नहीं, बल्कि किसानों और खाप पंचायत समेत तमाम तरह के सामाजिक संगठनों की गोलबंदी का भी केंद्र बन गया है। रविवार को खाप पंचायतों और किसान संगठनों ने संघर्ष में अपनी ताकत झोंकने का इरादा जता दिया। इससे यह साफ संकेत मिला है कि जिस तरह 2020 में शुरू हुआ किसान आंदोलन लंबा चला था, अब यह संघर्ष भी लंबा चलेगा। भारतीय जनता पार्टी को संभवत: यह भरोसा है कि इससे उसके समर्थक तबकों पर कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता, बल्कि जाट बनाम राजपूत का टकराव पैदा का लाभ उसे देश के कुछ इलाकों में मिलेगा और साथ ही हरियाणा में जाट बनाम गैर-जाट का उसका समीकरण पुख्ता होगा, मगर यह संघर्ष देश के एक बड़े हिस्से में उबलती रही जन-भावनाओं की एक और अभिव्यक्ति का मौका भी बन रहा है।
