केंद्र ने किया साफ, त्योहारी सीजन के दौरान स्थिर रहेंगी खाद्य पदार्थों की कीमत
नई दिल्ली। केंद्र सरकार ने कहा कि आगामी त्योहारी सीजन के दौरान सभी प्रमुख खाद्य पदार्थों और वस्तुओं की कीमतें स्थिर रहेंगी। खाद्य सचिव संजीव चोपड़ा ने मीडियाकर्मियों को बताया कि सरकार कीमतों को नियंत्रित करने के लिए सभी उपाय कर रही है।
उन्होंने कहा कि पिछले कुछ महीनों में सरकार द्वारा यह सुनिश्चित करने के लिए कई कदम उठाए गए हैं कि गेहूं, चावल, खाद्य तेल और चीनी जैसी आवश्यक वस्तुओं की कीमतें स्थिर रहें। चोपड़ा ने कहा कि भारत में चीनी दुनिया में सबसे सस्ती (44 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम) है, हालांकि इसकी घरेलू उपलब्धता सुनिश्चित करने और कीमतों को नियंत्रण में रखने के लिए चीनी निर्यात पर प्रतिबंध 31 अक्टूबर के बाद भी जारी रहेगा।
उन्होंने कहा कि 2022-23 के लिए किसानों को लगभग 95 प्रतिशत गन्ना बकाया का भुगतान किया जा चुका है। खाद्य सचिव ने कहा कि मूंगफली तेल के मामले को छोडक़र, पिछले साल से खाद्य तेल की कीमतों में भी गिरावट आई है। चावल के मामले में, चोपड़ा ने कहा कि घरेलू बाजारों में मूल्य स्थिरता और उपलब्धता सुनिश्चित करने के लिए उबले चावल पर 20 प्रतिशत निर्यात शुल्क 31 मार्च 2024 तक बढ़ा दिया गया है।
उन्होंने कहा कि सीमा शुल्क अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिया गया है कि उबले चावल की आड़ में किसी अन्य किस्म का निर्यात न हो पाए। सचिव ने बताया कि केवल कुछ मित्र देशों को ही चावल के निर्यात की अनुमति दी गई है। उन्होंने बताया कि ओएमएसएस के तहत लगभग 97,000 टन चावल बेचा गया है। चोपड़ा ने कहा कि हालांकि पिछले कुछ महीनों से चावल की मुद्रास्फीति अब 11 प्रतिशत पर है, लेकिन फसल का मौसम शुरू होने के साथ इसमें भारी कमी आ सकती है।
खाद्य सचिव ने कहा कि गेहूं की कीमतें भी नियंत्रण में हैं और पिछले एक साल में खुदरा मुद्रास्फीति लगभग 3.6 प्रतिशत रही है। थोक में भी गेहूं की महंगाई दर 3.86 फीसदी के आसपास रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि गेहूं की कीमतें बढऩे की कोई संभावना नहीं है क्योंकि पर्याप्त स्टॉक उपलब्ध है। चोपड़ा ने बताया कि अप्रैल 2024 तक गेहूं का 87 लाख टन स्टॉक होगा। साथ ही बफर में 76 लाख टन उपलब्ध है, जिसका उपयोग किया जा सकता है।
