20 नवंबर को 6 राज्यों में चुनाव, सार्वजनिक अवकाश घोषित
नई दिल्ली। झारखंड, महाराष्ट्र, उत्तर प्रदेश समेत 6 राज्यों में 20 नवंबर को होने वाले चुनाव के चलते राज्य सरकारों ने इस दिन सार्वजनिक अवकाश की घोषणा की है। इस फैसले के तहत स्कूल, कॉलेज, बैंक, पोस्ट ऑफिस और अन्य सरकारी दफ्तर बंद रहेंगे, ताकि नागरिक स्वतंत्र रूप से अपने मतदान अधिकार का उपयोग कर सकें।
चुनाव का विवरण
झारखंड: 38 विधानसभा सीटों पर दूसरे चरण का मतदान होगा।
महाराष्ट्र: एक ही चरण में 288 विधानसभा सीटों पर मतदान होगा।
अन्य राज्य: उत्तर प्रदेश में 9, पंजाब में 4, केरल और उत्तराखंड में 1-1 विधानसभा सीट पर उपचुनाव होंगे। इसके अलावा, महाराष्ट्र की नांदेड़ संसदीय सीट और 15 विधानसभा सीटों पर भी उपचुनाव होंगे।
मतदान में बढ़ेगी भागीदारी
राज्य सरकारों के इस फैसले का उद्देश्य लोगों को चुनाव में सक्रिय भागीदारी के लिए प्रोत्साहित करना है। माना जा रहा है कि सार्वजनिक अवकाश के चलते बड़ी संख्या में लोग मतदान करने पहुंचेंगे।
झारखंड में दूसरे चरण की वोटिंग
झारखंड में दूसरे चरण में 12 जिलों की 38 सीटों पर कुल 528 प्रत्याशी मैदान में हैं। करीब 1 करोड़ 23 लाख 90 हजार 667 मतदाता अपने मताधिकार का प्रयोग करेंगे। इस चरण के बाद 23 नवंबर को मतों की गिनती की जाएगी।
महाराष्ट्र: बढ़े उम्मीदवारों की संख्या
महाराष्ट्र में इस बार कुल 4,140 उम्मीदवार चुनावी मैदान में हैं, जो 2019 के मुकाबले 28% अधिक है। निर्वाचन आयोग के अनुसार, 2019 में 3,239 उम्मीदवार चुनाव लड़ रहे थे।
23 नवंबर को मतगणना
सभी राज्यों में 20 नवंबर को मतदान के बाद 23 नवंबर को मतगणना होगी। चुनाव आयोग ने सभी आवश्यक तैयारियां पूरी कर ली हैं।
राज्य सरकारों के इस निर्णय से लोकतंत्र को मजबूत बनाने में मदद मिलने की उम्मीद है।
