उत्तर प्रदेश- महाराजगंज सांप्रदायिक हिंसा मामले में 26 आरोपी गिरफ्तार, कुल 87 लोगों की हो चुकी गिरफ्तारी
बहराइच। उत्तर प्रदेश के बहराइच जिले के महाराजगंज कस्बे में हुई सांप्रदायिक हिंसा के मामले में पुलिस ने 26 और आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। अब तक कुल 87 लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया जा चुका है। इससे पहले बृहस्पतिवार तक पुलिस ने राम गोपाल मिश्र हत्याकांड के छह आरोपियों सहित 61 लोगों को हिरासत में लिया था, जिनमें पुलिस मुठभेड़ में घायल सरफराज और तालिम भी शामिल हैं।
शुक्रवार को जिले की मस्जिदों में कड़ी सुरक्षा के बीच जुमे की नमाज शांति से संपन्न हुई। बहराइच शहर में धार्मिक जुलूस भी निकले, जिससे अमन-चैन लौटने की उम्मीदें बढ़ी हैं। हालांकि, महाराजगंज बाजार में अभी भी तनाव बना हुआ है, जहां मकानों पर ध्वस्तीकरण नोटिस चस्पा होने से लोग बुलडोजर कार्रवाई की आशंका में सहमे हुए हैं।
हिंसा की शुरुआत कैसे हुई: 13 अक्टूबर को मां दुर्गा प्रतिमा के विसर्जन के दौरान डीजे पर गाना बजाने को लेकर विवाद हुआ, जिसके बाद सांप्रदायिक हिंसा भड़क उठी। इस हिंसा में 22 वर्षीय राम गोपाल मिश्र की गोली लगने से मौत हो गई और कई लोग घायल हुए। इसके बाद भीड़ ने घर, दुकानें, वाहन और अस्पतालों में तोड़फोड़ की। पुलिस ने अब तक 11 मुकदमे दर्ज किए हैं और 1000 से अधिक अज्ञात लोगों के खिलाफ केस दर्ज किया गया है।
