हरिद्वार। धर्मनगरी में शिवभक्तों की भीड़ बढ़ती जा रही है। चारों ओर बम-बम भोले के जयकारे लग रहे हैं। शनिवार से कांवड़ यात्रियों की भीड़ और बढ़ेगी। उत्तर प्रदेश, पंजाब, हरियाणा, राजस्थान आदि राज्यों से बड़ी संख्या में कांवड़ यात्री गंगाजल लेने हरिद्वार पहुंच रहे हैं। आठ मार्च महाशिवरात्रि से पहले शिवभक्त गंगाजल लेकर अपने गंतव्य को लौटेंगे। पैदल और डाक कांवड़ यात्रियों की भीड़ अभी और बढ़ेगी। इधर कांवड़ यात्रियों की भीड़ से बाजारों की रौनक देखते ही बन रही है।
शिव भक्तों की सुविधा को इस बार पहली दफा पुलिस की ओर से ट्रैफिक प्लान भी लागू किया गया है। इधर नगर निगम की ओर से पथ प्रकाश व्यवस्था भी दुरुस्त कराई जा रही है। सहायक नगर आयुक्त श्याम सुंदर प्रसाद ने बताया कि चंडी पुल से होकर बड़ी संख्या में कांवड़ यात्री गुजर रहे हैं। पथ प्रकाश व्यवस्था दुरुस्त करायी जा रही है।
